Our heritage

Alongside the qualities of scenic beauty we wish to see valued and protected in our countryside we also care about the heritage features that give character to places.

The conservation areas of our villages, ancient monuments left by our ancestors, listed buildings and features like old stone bridges deserve to be respected and preserved as reminders of past times and for what they add to many a rural scene.
